Fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, each room offers a relaxing ambience and facilities like a flat-screen TV, a fridge and a telephone. Yukata robes and tea sets are available in the room. The en suite bathroom has a bath tub and free toiletries.
Guests will be greeted with matcha green tea and Kyoto sweets at time of check-in. While staying at Honkan Matsui, guests can also receive massage in the room for a fee. Drinks vending machines and free luggage storage are available on site. The entire property has been renovated in April 2013.
