Welcome to the first capsule hotel in the world, created in 1979 and designed by the architect Kisho Kurokawa.
Just 700 meters from Umeda Subway Station and 350 meters from the HEP Five shopping & entertainment center, Capsule Inn Osaka (men only) has 3 levels of spas, including baths and saunas at different temperatures, as well as a swimming pool. The 3rd level is an open-air area including a Finnish sauna, a barrel of cold water, and 2 hot tubs made of Japanese cypress wood, a fine restaurant and massage services. Guests sleep in compact, air-conditioned capsules.
The sleeping capsules at Capsule Inn Osaka are placed side-by-side in a common area. Each has a privacy blind, an alarm clock, a TV and a modular fan and light system. Depending on the capsule model you choose, there is also a USB port. Private bathrooms and toilets are shared, with free toiletries and shared-use hairdryers. Only men can stay at this property.
